After going several years without being in the cockpit of a Madcat battlemech, I can honestly say I’ve been suffering a bit of withdrawal. Thankfully, that’s all going to come to an end over the next few months with the release of two new additions to the Mechwarrior series of games. Today, I was sent some images from A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Games and RoadHouse Interactive, the developers of MechWarrior Tactics, a free-to-play turn-based strategy game that pits Mechcommander against Mechcommander. These images made me very happy about the coming title and I certainly hope they make you a little giddy as well.

The first of four in-depth bios and images is that of the Jenner, a light hit-and-run mech.

Number two on the list is the incredibly quick Spider mech which also came with an in-game image of it.

Moving up in the weight classes, the Hunchback shows off some of the heavy firepower you will have at your disposal in Tactics.

Lastly, we have the end game, the top of the line weapon of mass destruction, the Atlas Assault Mech. This fearsome machine also came with its in-game rendered image.

MechWarrior Tactics is coming out later this year in North America and I cant wait to get behind the controls of a Madcat again.
