Danger Close Games, alongside parent company EA, have announced that they are offering players a worldwide open multiplayer beta for Medal of Honor Warfighter exclusively on the Xbox 360. Gamers will be able to choose from  twelve Tier 1 units that include the British SAS, German KSK, Russian Spetsnaz, Alfa Group, Korean UDT, and U.S. Navy SEALs.

By joining the battle, fans can help unlock the new Linkin Park “Castle of Glass” music video. The video will be released by EA five days after the beta launches, but gamers can work together to unlock it earlier. Just be one of the first three million people to download the beta. The concept for “Castle of Glass” is a direct result of collaboration between the members of Linkin Park and the developers at Danger Close Games. The video will contain a unique mix of live action footage and gameplay records taken from Warfighter. On top of unlocking the music video, gamers will also be awarded with an hour of Double XP when the full game launches just by downloading the beta.

The Warfighter beta will feature a brand new multiplayer mode entitled HotSpot. Within this game mode, players attack and defend randomly-selected locations on the Sarajevo Stadium map set in Bosnia. Inspired by real-life events, team up with a partner to take advantage of the game’s co-op Fireteam system.

Players that pre-order the Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition before the game launches on October 23rd will receive the Medal of Honor Warfighter Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack in North America or the Medal of Honor Warfighter The Hunt Map Pack in the rest of the world, at no extra cost.

Warfighter will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on October 23rd in North America and October 26th in Europe.
