Microsoft Announces Price Drop for Kinect

Kinect

Good things come to those that wait, and if you waited to purchase the Kinect for Xbox 360, you are in luck. Today, it appears that Microsoft has announced that the Kinect will officially drop in price in select markets. The Kinect, which has sold up until now for $149.99 will officially drop to a rather odd price of $109.99, saving you $40 in the process and leaving you some extra money to pick up a few games while you are at it.

The price cut will go into effect in the US, North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific as well as Australia and New Zealand on October 4th. There does not appear to be any plans for a price cut in EMEA or Japan, sadly.
