Earlier today, Microsoft officially started taking pre-orders for the Surface Tablet [with Windows RT]. The tablet will officially be released on October 26th, but for those who want to make sure they get one without [too much of] a delay, here’s all the info that’s fit to print.

They’re starting off with three flavors of pre-order:

• 32 GB Tablet without Touch Cover [$499.99]
• 32 GB Tablet with Black Touch Cover [$599.99]
• 64 GB Tablet with Black Touch Cover [$699.99]

You can also add one of five colours [White, Red, Black, Cyan, or Magenta] of Touch Cover to your order for $119.99 and/or the more laptop-keyboard-like Type Cover for $129.99 [available in any colour, as long as it's black]. If you’d like to pick up any other Surface accessories, you can find them here. So far, there’s only three accessories available, but at least it’s a start!

It looks like there’s a limit of two per package, so if you we looking to pick up a Surface for everyone on your Christmas list, you’re fresh outta luck, sailor. But, you do get free shipping on your up to six Surfaces that you may happen to pre-order. So, you can either wait ten days and pop over to your local Microsoft Store, or you can pre-order right now.
