When the lovable PC game, Minecraft, got ported to Xbox 360 people were understandably excited over the release. The port was going to allow console gamers to finally see what their PC gaming friends had been yapping about. The projection was that the game would become a popular download from the XBox Live Arcade, it. The game sold more than one million copies in the first week of release, blowing all previous XBLA sales records out of the water. Today it was announced by Chris Charla, portfolio director of XBLA, on twitter that Minecraft has surpassed two million copies sold!
Congrats to everyone on the Minecraft team past and present!
