Tommo and SNK Playmore announced today that their upcoming release of the NEOGEO X handheld system will also be available in a limited Gold Edition.  The NEOGEO X Gold Edition will add a NEOGEO Arcade Stick and a Ninja Masters game card.  The Limited Edition bundle will retail for $199.99.  Pre-orders are now available from Amazon.com and Gamestop.com.

Gamers who remember playing the original NEOGEO in arcades across the country will enjoy the classic gameplay of the NEOGEO X handheld system.  The system comes preloaded withe 20 classic titles including Art of Fighting, Baseball Stars 2, King of Fighters ’95, and Metal Slug.  Players can take their game on the road or recreate the arcade experience at home on their TV with included docking station.  The NEOGEO X System is set for release on December 6, 2012.
