New “Arkham Asylum” LEGO Set Inspired By Games
Posted on October 8, 2012 AT 11:05am
Yes, it’s a roundabout story, but follow us here.
DC Comics publishes Batman books on a weekly basis. LEGO makes toys based on these comic books. Warner Bros. made games based on the comics. Video games are made based on the LEGO toys. Now, a LEGO set about Batman and his gallery of villains, with designs from the Warner Bros. game, has been announced.
Comics Alliance reports that a new DC Super Heroes set from LEGO is coming out, featuring Arkham Asylum. The actual set seems based off of the one seen in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, while robin’s design hail from Batman: Arkham City.
With 1,619 pieces listed on the box, the set includes characters such as Batman, Robin, Poison Ivy, Joker, Scarecrow, and more.
It’s huge, it mixes Bat-continuities, and looks to be for an adult fan, especially at $160.
