If you’re in the mood for a new Cold War strategy game, then you’re in luck because Paradox Interactive just announced the latest title in the Hearts of Iron collection, East vs. West: A Hearts of Iron Game. It is currently being developed by BL-Logic and Paradox Development Studios, and it will span the time from the opening of the Cold War in 1946 all the way to 1991.

As with the previous strategy games from Paradox, you will be able to choose from many different paths to victories, like espionage, economics, or nuclear bombs. Any nation in the post-WWII era will be available to play as, and multiplayer will be available for those who enjoy backstabbing their friends.

East vs. West: A Hearts of Iron Game is set for a release sometime in Q2 2013 for PC.
