The original Painkiller FPS game was famous for the frenetic pace and the over-the-top action. It eventually became infamous for having some of the worst sequels. No, really, they were bad.

Enter in The Farm 51 and their desire to breathe new life into the Painkiller series with “Painkiller Hell and Damnation.” The original story dealt with a dead man trying to fight his way out of Purgatory and one can assume this game will follow lead. The Farm 51 has promised that player skill is going to play a more important part in the newest title but are being mum about anything else.

We can safely say there will probably be epic boss battles, over the top action sprinkled with a generous dose of murder, and some serious weaponry. but we will have to wait before we know we are right.
