War of the Roses is getting a ton of new content over the next few months and the first drops on Wednesday. The open beta for the new “Pitched Battle” game mode. Be careful playing this one because knights only get one life. Once you are dead, you are out of the game until the next match. Brush up on those bandaging and reviving skills because you will need them to become that last team standing, the final victor.

Besides the new game mode beta, War of the Roses players will be treated to some new armaments. Pick up some new customizable heavy aromor, a new helmet,  seven new weapons and four new visors. New weapons will include Richard Neville’s sword known as the Kingmaker, the halberd, the gothic mace and the horn-spanned crossbow.

Paradox Interactive will be doing a special broadcast this Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 6pm GMT / 10am PST  to demonstrate Pitched Battle and show off all the new content. Watch the  Paradox Interactive TwitchTV channel at www.twitchtv.com/paradoxinteractive to see all the action first hand.
