The Mario Kart series is pretty addictive.  Personally, I’ve always enjoyed the handheld versions more than the console versions of Nintendo’s seminal racing series. Beginning December 2nd, Nintendo will be releasing a handheld holiday bundle that could potentially have many people, myself included, jumping od the 3DS bandwagon.

The holiday bundle will include a Blue/Black 3DS XL with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed for a suggested retail price of $199.99.  Usually the 3DS XL retails for $199.99 by itself and Mario Kart 7 for $39.99, so $40 in savings is pretty sweet.  The much larger screen, nearly double the screen size of the 3DS, gives players a much better view of Nintendo’s glasses-free 3D tech as well.
