No Doubt is ready to re-emerge as a full band for the first time since their Grammy toting album “Rock Steady” in 2001. Members Gweb Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young have been working together again since 2008 and recently announced their 2012 album would be entitled “Push and Shove.”
Via their website this past Monday, the band announced the upcoming new album, as well as the release of new single “Settle Down.” Stefani stated through the group’s Facebook today that not only will the “Settle Down” video premiere on July 16, but the single will be on radios nationwide the same day. Currently, a behind-the-scenes look at the video is up on No Doubt’s Facebook. The premise of the video follows each band mate on tricked out trucks that align together at party where they eventually play; it follows a reunion kind of feeling.
The “Settle Down” video seems to promise a familiar feeling of older No Doubt music videos through the band’s partnership with director Sophie Muller. “Don’t Speak” and “Underneath It All” are just a few of Muller’s work with No Doubt.
Monday, July 16 premieres the video and radio release of No Doubt’s single “Settle Down” off their new album “Push and Shove.”
