No longer will you have to search for amazing video game related series! Today, led by Freddie Wong and Brandon Laatsch of FreddieW fame, and supported by Sam and Niko from Corridor Digital, Toby Turner and Ethan Newberry, Youtube launched their new channel NODE, filled with programming which will include extensive coverage of new games, trailer mash-ups, music videos and interviews and well-known gaming personalities—all presented in hightly-entertaining formats that showcase a distinct edge and personality.
“We aim to reinvent the online gaming channel with LAN Party on Node. Just like in the Halo and Goldeneye days, we get together with our friends to game together,” said Brandon Laatsch, co-creator of FreddieW. “Get ready for an onslaught of multiplayer gaming played the way it was meant to be: together!”
As host of one of the flagship programs, TAGGED, Toby Turner was equally excited to bring a new perspective on gaming to the well-established audience. “I love that TAGGED brings together the classic format of humorous video clips and video gaming each week. It’s all about the gamer’s brand of humor.”
Node Studios will launch with four signature series that will feature new episodes on a weekly basis.
- LAN Party: Freddie and Brandon from FreddieW and Niko and Sam from Corridor Digital provide viewers with an inside look at the latest and greatest games as they play remotely against each other – with nothing off limits as they taunt, berate and bust on each other along the way .
- TAGGED: Toby Turner and Ethan Newberry bring their outrageously hilarious personalities to NODE in this showcase of video gaming related videos that are making their rounds across the Net. In each episode, Toby and Ethan will debate whether the videos should be hailed as TAGGED (awesome), FRAGGED (bad ass) or LAGGED (hilarious)
- VG Medley: Hot music tracks and cool scenes from video games come together in this music video program for the gaming-minded.
- Trailer Mash-Up: Trailers from soon-to -debut video games are entertainingly mashed up with popular movies. The first two episodes in the series will showcase inventive mash-ups of Mass Effect and Total Recall, and Brave with The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
