As many fan are already aware, Ubisoft’s Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth will be released in time for the holiday season on October 30th. The super hero throwdown promises to stay true to the comics by utilizing art inspired from the Secret Invasion storyline. Featuring campaign, co-op, arcade, tournament, versus, and challenge modes, Battle for Earth will not only feature some of comics most legendary characters, it’ll also have a high replay value.
If you are lucky enough to be in New York this weekend for New York City Comic Con and just can’t wait to play Battle for Earth, the good news is that you don’t have to. The game will be available for hands on demos in two locations at the con, Ubisoft’s booth (#1821) and Marvel’s booth (#1838). As a bonus, attendees who pre-order the game on either Wii U or Kinect for Xbox 360 will also get a code to redeem a digital comic. The Avengers by Brian Michael Bendis Vol. 1 Collection #1-6 can be downloaded from the Marvel digital store. Battle for Earth’s development team will be discussing the title in the Marvel Video Games panel, Saturday in Room 1E13 from 11:15am to 12:15pm. Producer Pierre Leroux and Art Director Dan Vargas will be holding a question and answer session with the audience and providing some highly sought after details about the title.
