New from New York Comic Con is pouring in, and this time, Dark Horse Comics has made one of their several announcements. With Buffy The Vampire Slayer still going strong (just now in comic book form instead of television show), Joss Whedon and Dark Horse have announced a sampler issue, complete with several issue #1′s to serve as a major jumping on point for not only Buffy, but many of the other titles that are a part of that universe.

The four issues that will be included in the Buffyverse Sampler will include the #1′s from Angel & Faith, Spike, Willow, and Buffy Season Nine. Fans of the show, the comic, or anything having to do with this universe or anything produced by the prolific Whedon should be on the lookout for this peek into the Buffyverse when it gets released by Dark Horse Comics in January 2013.
