Who would have thought that the Ouya would have come this far, and still has a week left on its Kickstater page? Sitting at nearly $6 million, it broke three Kickstarter records: highest amount pledged as they sit currently at $5,988,833 from 46,705 backers as of 10:20am EST), quickest campaign to reach $1 million which was eight hours and twenty two minutes), and the most money raised in a day, the total coming to a whopping $3.2 million.

The $99 system definitely has turned heads. Tack on their latest partnreship with OnLive to bring streaming games to the console AND a publishing deal for an HD remake of Final Fantasy III from Square Enix, and even I have to go, “Well, they might just do it.”
