At least, it seems likely. Paul W.S. Anderson, the head behind FIVE Resident Evil movies, Dead or Alive, and the original Mortal Kombat movie, has his eyes set on his next movie, post-Resident Evil: Retribution. Anderson seems to be sticking with Capcom, as there are now plans for a Monster Hunter movie, ANN reports.
In an interview, he was asked what movie’s next, and confirmed plans for a Monster Hunter movie. While the Monster Hunter franchise has not had the level of success in America that Japan has, the games have come to the States, and Anderson has been prolific in getting respectable video game adaptations out in theaters.
Would you, or more likely, will you go see Monster Hunter in theaters?
