PAX Prime 2012: Wizards Of The Coast

Wizards Of The Coast always has a major presence at any big convention, and that tradition is holding strong at this year’s PAX Prime. The company known for the mammoth trading card game Magic: The Gathering , as we all the legendary tabletop game Dungeons & Dragons will be armed and ready for all the great things going on with the product.

Those attending PAX Prime should definitely be making the Wizards Of The Coast booths a top priority for all things related to MagicL The Gathering (Booth #1142) and D&D (Booth #1132).

The Magic booth will have plenty to offer from their latest Arcade title Duels Of The Planeswalkers 2013, including some big announcements about the first expansion that will feature new decks, levels, challenges and more. Demos of the game will also be available, and the team from LoadingReadyRun will be there for players to challenge (Friday and Saturday 4-6 PM, Sunday 3-5 PM).

The D&D booth will also feature a look at the new expansion, Rise Of The Underdark, and will include a look at digital offerings, and much more. There will also be a special event at the Paramount Theater on Saturday, September 1st at 3:30 PM, with the Acquisitions Inc. Celebrity Game, featuring the team (Jerry Holkins, Mike Krahulik, Scott Kurtz, Wil Wheaton) and Dungeon Master Chris Perkins as they play two hours of the newest installment in a live setting.

Also from Wizards Of The Coast is one of the most popular parties at the event, the Return To Ravnica party on Saturday, held at The Showbox. To get into this invite only party, attendees can affiliate with a Guild during the event, and head over to the Magic booth for more info.

Wizards Of The Coast is tearing its way through PAX Prime once more, giving fans a great experience, as they always do.

Russ Pirozek, known as "Noobcrawler" to some, is a gamer and comic book fan who sometimes gets around to writing for DigitalNoob.com. He's also awesome. If someone looked up "awesome" in the dictionary, his picture wouldn't be there, but that's because he's too busy being awesome to pose for a photo.
