The hit webcomic The Lookouts, which was featured on Penny Arcade, is now available nationwide through comic shops after a great digital debut at San Diego Comic Con. This brand new series is being released through Cryptozoic Entertainment and was so highly received that it was the #2 series on ComiXology when it debuted in digital format.

The series, which was developed by Penny Arcade’s Jerry Holkins, Cryptozoic’s Cory Jones and Ben McCool, follows a group of boys who join The Lookouts, a sort of Boy Scout troop, and must uncover the mystic secrets of the Eyrewood Forest. The boys earn badges, with new badges representing each six-issue story arc, and will also feature pieces of the “Lookout’s Handbook”, which will reveal additional information about the forest, and the badges themselves.

This new ongoing series is written by Ben McCool, with art by Robb Mommaerts, and is now available in print and digitally through ComiXology.
