EA Games has announced today that the new map DLC pack for Medal of Honor Warfighter, the Zero Dark Thirty pack is now available through their Origin online service. The pack coincides with the recently released blockbuster movie, Zero Dark Thirty. EA has also said they will donate $1 of each Zero Dark Thirty map pack sale to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation up through March 19, 2014. The pack will be available on December 18th for the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network.

The map pack includes two new multiplayer maps based on Darra and Chitral in Pakistan. The first map, Darra Gun Market, is based on the world’s largest illegal arms market. The second, Chitral Compound is based on a rugged, remote area governed by the native tribes, which don’t allow any government interference.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation is a charity organization which “…provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.”
