Pokemon Scramble U Details Revealed
Posted on March 12, 2013 AT 11:26pm
Pokemon Scramble U, the sequel to the 3DS’s Pokemon Rumble Blast is an upcoming Wii U download title. It will be the first game to use the Wii U GamePad’s NFC capabilities, in other words, the GamePad will act like the Portal hardware from the Skylanders series. The game is set to feature all 649 Pokemon from Generations 1-5. Gen 2 will no longer be nerfed. Collectable figurines will also be released alongside the game that will act like the Skylanders figurines in that the GamePad will recognize and put them in the game. Data will saved be for each figurine, allowing you switch them out and not lose any experience. The figurines will be available through the Pokemon Center stores and sell for 200¥ each (~$2.09 USD). The story is pretty basic. The toys have all fallen into a river, becoming lost in the wilds and must find their way back home to the toy shop. Along the way they will have top take down bosses such as Chandelure that stand in their way. The game will be released in Japan on April 24 for 1800¥ (~$18.81 USD). [Source: Serebii.net]
