Pro Wrestling X Looking to Add Fans to Game and Break Character Records
Posted on November 27, 2012 AT 08:46am

There have been a good number of pro wrestling games since the inception of the home consoles, and most have had a rather paltry selection of characters to choose from. I mean, Pro Wrestling on NES featured seven characters, which felt good at the time, but sort of became an industry standard in the future. Sure, some games boast an impressive roster, like WWE ’13, until you boot it up initially and see that a good portion of them need to be unlocked, leaving you with a very, very small roster.
Then comes the fact that just about everyone who plays these games ends up making some form of themselves in the character creation process. Go ahead, admit it, no one will blame you for doing it, because we all do it. Pro Wrestling X is looking to change things, as their project, currently up on Kickstarter, has introduced a new bunch of rewards, starting at $50.
What exactly are these rewards? Well, donate $50 or more and you will become a character in Pro Wrestling X and be given a first look at the character creation process. Cool, right? In the process they are looking to break the record set by Fire Pro Returns on the PS2 for most characters in a wrestling game (which was 327 playable characters).
So head over to their Kickstarter page and secure your spot on the roster.
