The world of Dontnod’s Remember Me is rich in detail, and I don’t mean just visually. From what has been shown so far, there’s a lot more to Neo-Paris than just the story of Nilin. We’re being offered a look into how Memorize, the company that created the Sensen memory tech, came to be… And it’s not quite what you’d expect. The tale within the journal of Antoine Cartier-Wells, the founder of Memorize, is a touching one. If you take the time to explore all of the chapters and read everything, I guarantee you will have The Feels before you are done.
Also released is an inspirational montage video, featuring narration by Antoine Cartier-Wells, video editing by Devin Supertramp, and music by Stephen Anderson. Consider it a promotional video for Memorize. Honestly, though, even outside of the context of Remember Me, the words spoken are very powerful. Check it out for yourself:
And don’t forget to check out Antoine’s Journal. If you’re thorough enough, and find some good memories, maybe you’ll even get a reward or two…
Remember Me will be released on PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 on June 4th.
