Remember Me Wants Your Memories [And Your Advertisements]

Posted on October 26, 2012 AT 06:27pm

Capcom’s Remember Me isn’t just promising not to forget you… It wants to make sure that your memories are kept well into the future. They also are looking for advertisements to place on the billboards of Neo-Paris. Details below!

From the press release:

Already underway is the opportunity for designers and creative thinkers with an eye for future trends to design a billboard advertisement that would be placed in the world of Remember Me to form part of the vibrant backdrop of Neo-Paris. By visiting Adverts in 2084 contestants can view the advertising briefs for five fictional companies. Having selected one of these companies they will then be tasked with creating a billboard that promotes that brand to the citizens of Neo-Paris.

The second initiative, commencing on October 25th and running until November 29th, asks people to submit images of their most cherished memories along with a short description of why this moment was so important to them. Images would then be chosen at random to be incorporated into the Memory Overload sequences, a result of successful completion of one of Nilin’s signature attacks. Full details of this promotion will follow soon on the Remember Me Facebook page.
Feeling creative? Enter one or both of the above! If you do, tell us what you submitted! I may submit some memories, myself.
Since we’re on the topic: What’s your best memory in gaming? Is it a favorite trailer? A perfect round of deathmatch? Did you drop the hammer on a celeb or game dev in a ‘Game With Fame’ event? I’d love to hear about what you remember best.
Bryan Todd [aka DieselBT] -- This is where I'm supposed to say something clever about myself. Let's pretend I did, and it conveniently mentions all of my top interests, such as anime, video games, crazy gadgets, electronic music, voice acting, sound editing, and countless other ridiculously fascinating topics. I also like to write stuff about things, which is why I'm here.

...That, and I like your shirt.
