ROCCAT Studios, the German gaming peripherals manufacturer is set to unveil one of the most powerful gaming devices ever created. It is the successor to the world famous Kone[+], the ROCCAT Kone XTD Max Customization Gaming Mouse will get its first moments in the spotlight this weekend at E3 and again at the Computex expo on June 5th.
Powered by an impressive performance package, the XTD is set to improve on its predecessors already impressive capabilities. Loaded with the latest 8200 DPI Pro Aim R3 laser sensor, a 32-bit Turbo Core V2 72MHz ARM MCU processor, and the world’s most advanced Tracking & Distance Control Unit, the XTD aims to deliver world-beating battle ability. It also features a new ultra-precise scroll wheel designed to let gamers give every command with absolute accuracy.
It is also being given several ergonomic features designed to deliver the longest play comfort. Outfitted with a soft touch surface and a perfectly balanced right-handed design, the Kone XTD promises to be the Hamburg-based company’s most powerful gaming mouse to date.

The Kone XTD also comes with the standard features fans of the series have come to enjoy, including Easy-Shift[+] technology, which lets users double the functions of their buttons and wheel, and ROCCAT Talk, a feature which lets the XTD communicate with compatible products like the ROCCAT Isku Gaming Keyboard for added benefits.
The Kone XTD is expected to hit shelves internationally September 2012. Select E3 and Computex visitors can test drive the XTD at ROCCAT booths.
