The Roxio Game Capture HD Pro is one of the best HD capture cards for beginners.  It has lush features in a simple package.  The card can record footage in 720p while the source is still in 1080p.  Streaming to TwitchTV with voice over is all done through the included software and requires very limited setup.  Also, the included video editor is robust and a decent alternative for more expensive video editors.  The price point is a low $150 and it releases on September 20th.

• THE GOOD: From set up to software, the best card out there for beginners.
• THE BAD: Only does 720p at 60fps, the 1080p option is capped at 30fps.
• THE UGLY: No advanced options for streamers that want to do a bit more than just show game footage.
