Samsung Galaxy S III will be coming to Sprint on Thursday, June 21st and after reading over the specs it looks like this new addition to the Samsung Galaxy S phone family is going to be out of this world! See what I did there?

Boasting the deliciously titled Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 operating system, users will be allowed access to Google Play, as well as utilize the customization options they have come to expect from an Android phone. With a  4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen the phone looks to be ideal for streaming videos on the go, or capturing your own home movies in HD. Customers will also have access to Sprint’s 4G LTE network once it launches later in the year.

Samsung’s Galaxy S III  has a feature called S Voice. S Voice’s primary function is to allow device-user communication, but it will also allow the user to take a picture just by saying “smile” or “cheese”. One of the most interesting features the phone has is  its motion detection, the ability to anticipate a users actions by the way they move the device. Say you start sending a text to Grandma, and you know it will take Grandma forever and a day to text you back. Rather than clicking out of the text you started typing or bringing up a menu, you simply lift the phone up to your ear. The device will automatically call Grandma… or whoever it was you were texting!

The Samsung Galaxy S III will be available for pre-order through Sprint on Tuesday, June 5th, in two colors, Pebble Blue and Marble White. It will be offered in a 16GB version for $199.99 and 32 GB version for $249.99 for customers adding a new line, eligible for upgrade, or signing up for a two-year service agreement.
