Death is final. Well, it was, until the people at Reconnect found a way to travel through time to save the lives of those who had unfortunate accidents. While illegal and incredibly expensive, the ability to save the life of yourself or someone you lost is something that hits to the very core of nearly every person. This is the core concept of Comeback, the newest series by Image Comics.

Mark, a Reconnect agent, wants to help people, and despite having reservations about the illegal job, does it to help others. However, he soon sees the side of the job that isn’t as helpful. The wealthy have begun to use the procedure more than other, and have found ways to prolong their lives by using Reconnect.

Written by Ed Brisson, with artwork by Michael Walsh, this Image/Shadowline miniseries will take the concept of morality and use it as something completely new: a commodity, to the point of almost being a form of currency or social standing.

Comeback will emerge on November 21st.
