If you want some real interactive terror in your life, look no further than the Argentinian group, Senscape, and their new PC game, Asylum. Though the game isn’t set to be available for mass play until the end of 2013, a teaser game has been released.
Throw away what you think about video game trailers. This is no preview with just sneak peeks; it is a playable segment of Asylum giving future players a taste of what the game itself will have to offer. Already in its fourth year of production, Asylum still has a few more months to have its kinks worked out, but that’s not to say that the teaser isn’t jam packed with intense features. The Senscape team showcases a glimpse into one of the largest buildings ever incorporated into a video game: the Hanwell Mental Institution. The real-life institution is one of the United Kingdom’s oldest housing hospitals for the mentally impaired that still stands today.
