Producer Michael Sroczynski told Joystiq recently that City Interactive’s sequel, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, was meant to have the ability to dismember enemies with well placed sniper shots from day one.  However in order to avoid being banned in Germany they have decided to remove the feature and instead make it part of a free DLC pack that will be available the same day the game launches.  This DLC will be available across all platforms free of charge to everyone except residents of Germany. Sorry Germany no blowing body parts off for you!  The game launches later this summer on August 21st.
