Sony Launches Web-Based Store In Select Countries

The Playstation Store, Sony’s popular online digital store for its popular console, the Playstation 3, now has a web-based counterpart for normal browsers, as apart of the company’s Sony Entertainment Network. The new store allows customers to purchase digital content for their PS3 from any web browser, without needing to log onto the console. As of time of writing, the store is only available for most European countries, including Great Britain, France and Italy, plus several others such as the United Arab Emerites. Sony has not yet announced if the digital store will be available in any other countries at time of writing.
