The anticipated 3rd person shooter, Spec Ops: The Line has had its launch trailer unveiled for all eyes to see. The interesting tidbit about this entry in the franchise is the use of sand. It can be used to help in your fight or against you. Thus swallowing you up into darkness,  never again seeing the light of day.

Nolan North has brought his unmistakeable vocal chords to the game, which is a risky choice. Risky in that he will be for a long time, associated with Uncharted. However I admire him trying out different characters so he doesn’t become typecast.  Having played the demo I can vouch for this game as the gameplay is fun, the visuals are impressive and the combat is satisfyingly brutal. All good things in my estimations but enough talk! Have gander at the trailer if you would be so kind.

The game is releases this week on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Now don’t forget your bucket and spade…
