Indie developer, The Game Bakers, has gotten their latest title approved by the Apple App Store. SQUIDS Wild West will be released on June 27th in the App Store for $1.99, and will be on sale at launch for $0.99. SQUIDS Wild West is the sequel to SQUIDS, a role-playing game in which you channel your inner mollusk and take part in all kinds of wild adventures!

The game follows a group of adorable heroes as they attempt to protect their underwater kingdom from a black ooze that is taking over the ocean (a pointed finger at BP perhaps?). SQUIDS Wild West is based in the kingdom of Seawood as our heroes search for their friend and battle against crustaceans. There is even a character named Calamary Jane! Come on, that’s clever and you know it!

SQUIDS Wild West will be available for the iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone.
