Star Trek the Video Game will feature just the popular Star Trek character favorites, two new characters will play a prominent role in the story. Players will meet T’Mar, a female Vulcan scientist and childhood friend of Spock. She is the captain of the space station that Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock are called to rescue.

The story will take Kirk, Spock and T’Mar to New Vulcan, a planet that was colonized by Vulvans after their home planet was destroyed in the 2009 Star Trek movie. Once there they will meet the great Vulcan leader, Surok. Surok is T’Mar’s father as well as one of Spock’s childhood mentors.

Star Trek the Video Game will be available April 23, 2013 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
