EA and Sony Pictures are teaming up to generate some cash for the Project HONOR charity through an interesting cross-promotion.

With Medal of Honor Warfighter hitting store shelves in October and the Osama Bin Laden inspired movie Zero Dark Thirty coming to theaters in December, it provided the perfect opportunity to generate some DLC sales while giving back to the military at the same time. EA will be releasing the Zero Dark Thirty map pack in December in conjunction with the movie’s release. For every map pack they sell, they will donate $1 to the Project HONOR charity, up to a total of $1 million. Project HONOR is a program created to drive charitable contributions to nonprofit veterans organizations. The map pack will go on sale for $9.99 the week of December 17th, the same day the Zero Dark Thirty movie is released.
