Paradox Interactive’s The Showdown Effect is a multiplayer actition title inspired by the very best of the worst 80′s and 90′s action films. The game’s recently live website (found here) features terrible one liners and rather intense movie style box art. Overall the title looks to be a rather comical romp where players can use any weapon they’ve ever desired to have from their favorite films, including frying pans or lightsabers! The game promises to allow players to become the action hero they always dreamed of without any of the pesky work it takes to do it in real life. To get an idea of what the game will look like check out the new trailer posted below. Be sure to go to the website to sign up for the beta and tell us what you think!
