In anticipation of  a busy holiday season, The Testament Of Sherlock Holmes announced that it would be dropping its MSRP from the standard $59.99 to a much more palatable $39.99, giving fans of the legendary detective a chance to solve the complicated mysteries in the game without having to solve the “Case Of The Lost Rent Money”. Focus Home Interactive and Frogwares, who are making the game, believe this will help Holmes stay competitive in a crowded release period.

While the game has had almost entirely positive comments made towards it, this price drop will make it much easier for fans to get their hands on the game, especially when the people behind work for a much smaller developer, which already puts them at a disadvantage.

Solve crimes as the greatest detective of all time in The Testament Of Sherlock Holmes, releasing for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on September 25th.
