First available at the Emerald City Comic Con last March, the first hardcover compendium of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead, the popular comic series that spawned one of the best shows on television.
While all one hundred copies that were brought to ECCC sold, the 900 that remain are being given a chance to sell in San Diego. The gold-stamped hardcover edition collects issues #1-48, and will be sold at the Image/Skybound booth at this years’ show.
Because of limited quantity, those wishing to purchase a copy must first draw a ticket at the booth, and winners will be allowed to pick up a copy, for the price of $100. Each day will bring a new drawing, so stay vigilant, fans!
The Walking Dead, which features work by Kirkman, Tony Moore, Charlie Adlard, and Cliff Rathburn, also announced that a paperback version will be available at Skybound for $59.99, and also that a second compendium, which will collect issues #49-96, was also announced and will be available at a later date.
