Posted on August 15, 2012 AT 04:45am

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition has received 6 European Game Awards in Cologne. The awards include ‘Best European Game’ and ‘Best European Character Design’. It is no surprise to see this level of praise for a title that was arguably game of the year for 2011 and at the very least a contender. Ever since the game’s initial release CD Projekt Red haven’t stopped giving, between the constant free updates and patches, the arrival of the Xbox 360 version and finally the free PC upgrade to the Enhanced Edition, they have been committed to improving their game as much as possible and giving back to their supporters.
Adam Badowski had this to say about receiving the awards:
“I just want to say thank you to all our fans. It’s really a great thing to know, that our team’s hard work provided entertainment to so many people and that our vision of RPGs appeals to so many gamers, Again – thank you all!”
