Twentieth Century Fox and IDW Publishing have teamed up to bring the legendary show The X-Files back to the comic book medium. The original comics, which ran periodically from 1995 to 2009, and will now return in 2013 with a brand new story starring the iconic characters of Mulder and Scully. With fans clamoring for more stories of science fiction, picking up where the last series left off, continuing the sequence of intrigue and adventure that brought joy to this dedicated fan base.

IDW Publishing has created a major market with this style of comics, taking other familiar titles such as 30 Days Of Night and Doctor Who into the comic book medium. While no creative team has been announced just yet, it’s certain that a great team will be assigned to helm this terrific franchise.
