Thief Of Thieves Gets Fifth Printing From Image Comics
Posted on June 13, 2012 AT 07:20pm
2012 has been a really great year for Image Comics, with three comics from this year getting five printings of the debut issue. With Robert Kirkman’s Thief Of Thieves joining Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips’ Fatale, along with Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples’ Saga as three new titles that have really grown in popularity.
The series, written by Nick Spencer and drawn by Shawn Martinbrough, follows Redmond, a master thief, on a journey to reclaim his former life as a man named Conrad Paulson. With his past still trailing him, Redmond realizes that escaping his past life is more difficult than he could have imagined. The series has also been optioned by AMC to become an upcoming television show.
Despite the massive popularity, there is a chance that Image Comics will limit these multiple printings, so those who have missed out on one of the biggest comics of 2012 should be on the lookout for a copy of Thief Of Thieves.
Issue #1 will release its fifth printing on July 11th.
