Chernarus is an unforgiving land, for bandits and survivors alike. At any moment your life that you worked so hard to create will be ripped from you like a Chik-Fil-A sandwich at a gay pride parade. There are moments when you are on top of the world, fully geared with night vision goggles, a small but diverse set of weapons and a few friends to enjoy all your tools with. Some players may even acquire a helicopter – the rarest of all goodies in DayZ – and although they are figuratively and metaphorically above everyone at that beautiful moment in the eastern European sky, they will fall, just as everyone does.
