Apparently, in 72 years humans will have unlocked the ability to remove, unlock, or change our memories and those of other people… cool. Remember Me is Capcom’s newest title to be announced at Gamescom for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

The official description of the title says: “Take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. Arrested, and with her memory wiped clean Nilin must now set out on a mission to rediscover her identity.”

Being developed by Dontnod Entertainment, Remember Me is a futuristic action title that is set within Paris during the year 2084. Remember Me will feature the buying and selling of memories, melee based combat, and of course some Uncharted style platforming.

Remember Me is due for release in May 2013.
