Lara Croft is back and so much better with her svelte, non-Penthouse, figure.

The new trailer for the upcoming Tomb Raider game is gritty and dark. It doesn’t appear it’s going to be the usual Tomb Raider fare with cave exploring and wolf killing. There are hints at the usual stealth missions and of course, gun fights but, Lara doesn’t appear to be in complete control of the situation for a change. She appears vulnerable and a little weak which is a welcomed change.  The Tomb Raider series needed a boost and if the new game delivers on what this trailer seems to promise, this new direction might just be the answer.

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until March 5, 2013 to play.
