Topware Interactive is celebrating the launch of their new hybrid arcade shooter/match-three title Transcripted with a massive contest in partnership with Alienware.
The game, which gives player control of the Nano-Probe, a microscopic medical tool that is used to repair diseased and damaged strains of DNA, is used much like the old-school arcade shooters, with various weapons and abilities within reach. In addition, it also adds a puzzle element into the game, using multicolored blocks to match colors and attempt to stop the infection from spreading. The game has now launched on Steam for $9.99, with a free demo available online.
Topware and Alienware have gotten together to offer a terrific prize for the launch of Transcripted: an Alienware X51 Mini Gaming Desktop! The X51 is a powerful and versatile machine, and Transcipted has been outfitted to be used with AlienFX, using lights and sounds from the machine with the game to help conquer the toughest obstacles. Watch the trailer for the game and enter the contest here for more information and a chance to win before the September 25th deadline.
