When discussing the term toyetic, no other franchise in history defines that term quite like Transformers. Children of the 80’s will fondly remember the Transformers toy line, created by Hasbro, following hot on the heels of their raging success with GI Joe. Transformers quickly turned into an animated television series, animated films, an array of different television series and then ultimately into a live action film series. There have been many videog ames developed in the wake of the Transformers craze, but none have seemed to truly catch on like other forms of media have.

Lots of the games have simply been quick cash-ins on then-current television shows and films, and as any gamer is apt to tell you; film tie-in games tend to be abominations. Transformers: War for Cybertron was an exception to this rule, though. It seemed thoughtful, played well and felt like it was a worthy addition to the universe of Transformers. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the sequel set for release at the end of August and part of the highlights of this game will be the competitive online multiplayer.

Today the fine folks at High Moon Studios have released a new multiplayer trailer showing you some of the features to look forward to. The biggest and best feature; creating your own Transformer, something that every Transformer fan has been looking to do since childhood.
