Looking forward to Halo 4? Well Mad Catz Interactive has an announcement you might be interested in then. Having just entered into a partnership with Microsoft studios and 343, Mad Catz is set to release a brand new Halo 4 themed Tritton headset later this year. While no images of the headset have been disclosed of at the moment, more information is set to come down the pipes in the next while.
Darren Richardson, President and CEO of Mad Catz Interactive had this to say about the arrangement. “We are excited to add Halo 4 to our portfolio of world class video game licenses. Halo is one of the world’s most popular video games and these new Halo branded headsets are sure to appeal to the passionate gamer who wants to maximize his or her Halo experience.”
Frank O’Connor, the Franchise Development Director at 343 Industries also stated that, “We’ve worked closely with TRITTON™ engineers and industrial designers to ensure compelling and appropriate technological and aesthetic designs that map closely to Halo’s epic sci-fi universe.”
Personally, I’m hoping to see a forerunner influence on the headset, though I could live with just wearing an Elite’s helmet on my head instead.
