Today, truTV premiered a brand new kind of mobile app featuring the hit show, Impractical Jokers, which features four lifelong friends who take dares to an absolutely outrageous and hysterical level. The brand spanking new, and free, truTV Impractical Jokers app lets fans take Joe, Sal, Murr, and Q with them wherever they go. The content-rich app arrives just in time for the start of the show’s second season tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The app is chock full of features, including:

• “Video Jam” which will feature the best clips from the newest episode of the show
• Social media connections in a section called “Come On People”
• “The Joker Doodle Pad” will let fans draw graffiti on photos of the stars which can then be saved and shared
• An ability to replay your favorite catchphrases from the show in “Soundboard Smorgasbord”
• Special alert function to remind fans when the show is airing so they don’t miss an episode

Finally, the most innovative feature to this app is a chance to talk to the Jokers directly through an exclusive hotline. This hotline is the first time that a TV series companion app has hosted a direct phone line to the stars of a show. If available, the guys will happily chat, but if not available, callers will be taken to a pre-recorded voicemail message which will be updated regularly.
