Image has been on a mission this year, and so far, mission accomplished. That is, if the mission is to have a majorly popular year, sell a ton of copies of their new and exciting content, and put them in a more even level with the top comic book companies.
The announcement today that two more Image books are in need of a second printing is no surprise, considering the trend during the course of this year. With Mind The Gap #2 and Dancer #2 selling out of their first printings, Image has to be excited.
Dancer, by Nathan Edmondson and Nic Klein, focuses on an assassin and ballet dancer on the run through Milan, attempting to escape a deadly pursuer. The second printing will release on July 18th.
Mind The Gap, by Jim McCann, Rodin Esquejo, and Sonia Oback, tells the story of attack victim Elle, who is now comatose. In an astral form, she attempts to solve the case of her own attempted murder. The second printing will hit shelves once again on July 25th.
Great work, Image! Keep up the great work.
