Revolution is a post-apocalyptic tale unlike those that we’ve usually seen. In this instance, the electricity goes off and doesn’t come back on. All advanced technology is nullified from iPods and computers to batteries and all kinds of engines. People are forced into a life completely opposite of what they lived. Fifteen years after the lights go out, the story focuses on the Matheson family who possess the knowledge of why the lights went out and a possibility of how to turn them back on.
